Full rear elevation in Eaton High Street, London
On this project we were required to renew the full rear elevation roof area. The property dates back to the 1900s and is Grade 2 listed which required us to work closely with the local authority. All materials used had to be the same as originally used when the property was built.
We sourced natural welsh slates and hand made clay plain tiles which would match the surrounding properties. Timber work repairs were carried out with reclaimed timbers and the chimney was rebuilt with reclaimed stock bricks.
A Code 6 lead gutter was installed to the box gutter and the lead flashings were code 5 as required. As shown in these photos the result was a great looking roof which will last for many years.
